Grey Heron นกกระสานวล
It's almost dusk in Phutthamonthon when I saw a very big bird high on a tree. A few shots sent it to hide deeper in another tree. It is Grey Heron, a migrant, later a swarm of 12 flew on the sky in flock to southwest. My new find.

Were the Barbets in fight or in love?
December 2nd and cool breeze has reached Bangkok. It was quite hazy when I saw something moving on the ground in Phutthamonthon. Zooming in revealed that two Lineated Barbets were there entangled together in what looked like a long fighting. It took 12 minutes more before they noticed me and fled. From the video, both are very bright with high physical fitness. One is smaller than the other. Likely they were making love.
Reviewing the images again and again reveals that they are in fight rather. Blood stains (on the corner of the mouth) in many pics were evidences of harsh fighting.
