Long summer vacation, Songkran water festival ends today. Going around SRF trying to find the Dollar bird  reported by David Gandy a few days ago, but to no avail.  Just before leaving the park, there were some birders concentrating on some thing in the bush. Slowing down with camera ready, walking behind them with some distance. It is an Indian Cuckoo. Resident and migrant. My new find.

One side of my backyard is covered with creeping fig, which also serves well as a hotel for small birds. Some even built a nest for breeding. Like this Pied Fantail.
